Dog-friendly Café Restaurant
If you are looking for a dog friendly café on Mersea Island we can help. We love all dogs big and small. Four legged friends are very welcome in our glass room, deck and garden area.
We have plenty of space in our glass room or deck for you to bring your dogs along whilst you enjoy a drink, snack or meal.
- All dogs must be kept on leads
- Please clean up after your dog ~ we have poo bags in our shop as well as dog treats and toys
- Dog water bowls available
- No dogs in the shop please (unless you can carry them) - accidents can happen!

We are set in the beautiful East Mersea countryside, with coastal walks just under a mile away.
Whether you fancy taking on the round the island walk (21km) or a shorter stroll along the beach, Mersea Barns is the perfect place to call into for a coffee.
